Pussy Cats - again...

Welcome
(My card is below the first two photos)

I would like to introduce to you my new companion - Tinker.  So named as he is a really mischievous young fellow - about 5 months old.

Quite timid as yet, he is a rescue kitten who has not been well socialised, but very vocal. He was constantly 'talking' as I took the photos!!

In addition to that, I have recently made a birthday card for another cat lover in the family.

The cat image is an old Hero Arts one.  I stamped in black and clear embossed the image, masked it and a background area, and then sprayed the background with a chalk ink.  Before removing the masks, I also stencilled a background using a Stamplorations Confetti Circles Stencil and Delicata Golden Glitz ink.
The floor boards were drawn using a fine micron pen, and the image and floor coloured with chalks, and the bow with a glitter pen.

The sentiment was white embossed on black card, and trimmed out to form a banner.

After much plotting and secrecy, the recipient has (literally) just been surprised with a grey and white (sort of tabby) cat for their birthday.!!
It is a very special breed, La Perm, that does not cause an allergic reaction for one of the family members.

  3. A sweet card, Maxine and one that any cat lover would be happy to receive. Tinker looks adorable, what a gorgeous ginger boy. Reminds me of my very first cat. Sorry I haven't been about much. Dear Mum went into hospital on Monday. You are in my thoughts. Best wishes to you and I'm so happy you have a new companion. x

  9. Aw your new companion is so handsome and I love kitties that talk to me! Mine does too and I talk right back to him! :) I hope this one is as much companionship and as many laughs as Andy has been for me in his short life time thus far. There are times I feel like he's more kitty than I can handle with my current weakness, but he is beginning to show signs of settling down a bit. Still a ton of energy but I can reign it in a bit better now! :) I love cats no matter what!!! Your card too is just adorable!!! Thinking of you and praying God's continued strength and comfort!

  11. What a sweet kitty, looks like my Thomas! Orange tabbies are so much fun, ours is really vocal too and so mischievous, but his cuteness lets him get away with a lot :-)
A really cute card too! Loving the background design behind the cat.

  13. KITTEHS! There is something to be said about orange tabby kats! I've had my fill of talking cats though. I adopted a brother (orange tabby-Cornflake) and sister cat. The sister cat never shut up, always with something to say. I named her Denise after a friend who never shut up either. She thought that was great.

And, oh yeah, you made a card. Love the card! The floor planks look downright wooden. Very cool!

  16. I love your cats - both the real one and the little stamped one. that's a real cute stamp.
Of course I love ginger cats and it is great that you have taken a rescue kitty. He will soon get used to your ways and be good company for you. Mine has been sitting on me all evening. We have a very vocal cat but she is a little tabby who spends more time outside than in the house. But she says a very clear 'hello' and when she wants food she can certainly make herself heard.
